These terms govern your use of elffix.com ("Elf Fix," "we," "us"). By using the site — browsing, calling a number on it, texting us, or submitting the call-back form — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We've written them in everyday language, because terms nobody can read help nobody.
Elf Fix is a referral service, not a contractor. We operate a call platform that connects US homeowners with independent third-party home-service professionals ("pros"). We do not perform repairs, installations, inspections, or any trade work ourselves, and we don't employ the pros.
When you tap a service number on our site, your call goes directly to the service provider. Any visit, quote, or work that follows is strictly between you and that independent pro.
Using Elf Fix costs you nothing — browsing, calling, texting, and the call-back form are all free, with no obligation. We may earn a referral fee from the independent pro who serves you. That fee comes from the pro's side and never changes what you pay for the job. You never pay Elf Fix anything.
Elf Fix does not quote, set, control, or guarantee prices for any work. Any price, estimate, or quote comes from the independent pro, not from us. Always get pricing in writing from the pro before work begins, and never authorize work you haven't agreed to.
Because the pros are independent businesses, a little homework on your end goes a long way:
Elf Fix makes no warranties — express or implied — about any pro's skill, timeliness, licensing status, or the outcome of their work.
Calls placed through Elf Fix may be recorded for quality assurance. By calling a number on this site, you consent to recording where permitted by law. If you're calling on behalf of someone else, make sure you have their permission to share their details.
If you provide your phone number — by calling, texting us, or submitting the call-back form — you agree that Elf Fix and the matched local pro may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further messages. For help, reply HELP or email info@elffix.com.
Please use the site as intended: finding and contacting home-service pros. You agree not to misuse the service numbers (prank calls, harassment, spam), attempt to disrupt the site, scrape our content at abusive volumes, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block numbers or addresses that abuse the service.
We aim to keep every service line reachable around the clock, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability — pros have their own hours, and emergencies happen. If a line doesn't answer, try again shortly or text us at (855) 555-0134 and we'll help.
For life-threatening emergencies (fire, gas leak, flooding with electrical risk), call 911 first — then call a pro.
Elf Fix is intended for users in the United States arranging home services at US addresses. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to submit the call-back form or arrange services through the site. If you're arranging work for someone else — a parent, a tenant, a client — make sure you have their permission to share their contact details.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elf Fix — its owner, operators, and affiliates — is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or from work performed (or not performed) by independent third-party professionals, including property damage, personal injury, costs, or losses of any kind. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.
Any dispute between you and a pro is between you and the pro. We may, at our discretion, try to help resolve a miscommunication, but we're not a party to your agreement with them.
You agree to hold Elf Fix harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or your dealings with independent pros, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
