Elf Fix (elffix.com) is a referral service that connects US homeowners with independent local home-service professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and — just as important — what we never do.
We keep data collection to the bare minimum needed to run the service:
We don't ask you to create an account, and we never collect payment information — homeowners never pay Elf Fix anything.
We use what you share for one purpose: connecting you with the right local pro. If you ask for a call-back, your name, number, ZIP, and service selection go to the independent professional handling your request — and to nobody else. We may also use contact details to respond to your questions or, if something goes wrong with a call, to follow up.
Calls placed through Elf Fix may be recorded for quality assurance. If you call, you consent to recording where permitted by law.
If you give us your phone number — by calling, texting, or filling in the call-back form — you agree that Elf Fix and the matched local pro may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP, and you can ask us to delete your messages by emailing info@elffix.com.
We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. The site may use basic functional storage (for example, remembering that you dismissed a banner) — nothing that identifies you to advertisers.
Only the independent local pro handling your request — and only the details needed to serve you (name, number, ZIP, service). We don't share your information with anyone else, except if required by law (for example, a valid court order).
Remember: the pros are independent businesses with their own practices. Once a pro has your details, their own privacy policy applies to how they handle them.
We protect your information with standard technical safeguards and keep it only as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email info@elffix.com and we'll take care of it. California and other US state privacy laws may give you additional rights; we honor them.
Elf Fix is for adults arranging home services. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email info@elffix.com and we'll delete it promptly.
Elf Fix serves homeowners in the United States. Our site, servers, and service providers operate in the US, and US law governs how we handle your information. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
